We all want to preserve our country and ensure that future generations inherit a safer, stronger America. But as we watch political battles, riots, and even politically motivated assassinations unfold at an alarming rate, it’s clear that our nation is in danger. A house divided will collapse under the weight of division.

And it’s not just happening on a national scale, but more personal scale. We see division creeping into our own communities, friends choosing sides, families torn apart, and conversations replaced with conflict. Once-reliable news sources have become politically charged, instead of informing the people of what happening they are selling an agenda to the public. They’ll twist information to fit their narrative based on their agenda regardless of what happened instead of giving the people the facts. This is regardless of whether the station leans right or left furthermore, it spreads misinformation and divides people depending on their sources of information.

The result? Americans are left horrified about the future, and fearful of what their children and grandchildren will face. Especially with the uncertainty in the government, economy, social unrest, among many other facets of life.

We’ve all heard that a house divided cannot stand. If the current polarization continues, the future of our nation is at risk.

That’s why we founded Young Adults for America. Our mission is to teach the next generation of leaders to think critically, make decisions based on facts rather than emotion, and engage in healthy, respectful debate. By promoting understanding and encouraging dialogue, we believe we can rebuild unity amongst the American people, find common ground, and work together toward a Stronger, Safer, and more united America for a secure future for generations of Americans to come.
